Owner John Carey has always had a passion for food and has been an industry leader for over 45 years as the proud owner operator of many cafe's and bakeries.

Wanting to share his love for food with others, John is always looking for new ideas and after stopping into a supermarket to grab something quick to heat up for dinner, realised that the options available in the ready made meal section, were really variations on the same theme - a protein and rice, pasta, salad or pizza. It was then John saw a niche in the ready meal market for a microwave burger and chips.

The development process has taken 12 months of research including endless hours, many day's and night's of cooking patties, frying chips and sampling different types of bread rolls and chips. John is proud to have created a product that he believes is comparable, if not better that any other burger on the market.

Initially, the Burger Co burgers were offered as a retail product line, which sold through independant grocery, and retailers in WA. But, soon saw the Heat n Eat concept of our Burger Co burgers, was a perfect fit for venues who had little to no kitchens, ran with minimal to no staffing, and provided the venues a great source of extra revenue.

With current challenges seen in the industry regarding srtaffing shortages, logistics, transport delays, coupled together with consumer demand looking for better food options, The Burger Co saw this as an opportunity to shift focus and be able to provide a solution to these venues.

Burger Co's range of food products are different, and first of its kind on the market here in Australia, as they're ready-to-go range of products can be available to self-serve customers, or heat n go.

For the food service industry, our range creates a low cost, no wastage approach for venues who want to offer hot food, especially those venues who have little to no kitchen space. This allows food retailers to optimise their hot offerings in store, while reducing their waste, optimising staff prep times which all helps with margin control, which in turn creates a well price value for money option for your customers.

With the heat n go concept that enables them to be easily heated up in the microwave, or rapid cook commercial oven (such as Merrychef, Turbochef etc) you can effectivley deliver a deliciously hot meal anytime, in a little as 30 seconds!
